As I wrote in a past blog, 2017 Spring Color Trends, most assumed that the Pantone Color of the Year would be chosen from one of those 10 colors. While at the time, many thought the color would be Kale, Pantone chose another color from nature, Greenery.
Pantone describes Greenery as “a refreshing and revitalizing shade” that is “symbolic of new beginnings.” How appropriate for a spring wedding!
A natural and energetic color, you can incorporate Greenery into your wedding palette through floral arrangements, linens and décor, and the ever-so-popular floral bridesmaid’s dresses.
Pantone explains that the color of the year is “a symbolic color selection…a snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture.” When planning your wedding, I think you should always pick colors that speak to your heart. But sometimes seeing something new sparks our imagination and brings us to a new place.
