When you are planning a wedding or event, it can feel overwhelming. On top of managing emotions, there can be countless hours spent searching for the right vendors. A professional event planner has already put in those hours for you. I have several years' experience working in many aspects of the hospitality industry and have insight into how each vendor operates. This knowledge is the key to executing a successful event. My job is to take your ideas and turn them into a roadmap, so that all of your event partners have a clear path towards bringing your vision to life.
The Booking Process
As soon at you contact me, you will receive an invitation to schedule a complementary 30 minute phone consultation. We will discuss where you are in the planning process, your ideas and how I can help you bring them to life. From this conversation, I will create a custom proposal for you to review. In it, you will find additional information about my process and more benefits of working with me. The final stages of the booking process are contract signing and payment of a retainer and setting up your first consultation.
The Planning Process
Our first planning meeting will be one of further discovery. We will dive further into your likes and dislikes. What a successful event means to you and the elements that will help us get there. The beginning of the planning process involves a lot of communication between you, me and event partners. When we get our vendors into place, you can rely on me as a single point of contact. During this time, you may feel a bit of a lull. That's okay. It is part of the ebbs and flows of planning and you should enjoy this time of inactivity. The action picks up as we get closer to event day as we finalize all the details. During event week, there will be nothing for you to worry about except enjoying time with your friends and family and being present in the moment.
